An Introduction to Stenography
Stenography is a different term which people often confuse with so many other things and it could be defined as a means of a writing method which is abbreviated and symbolized in a manner which nobody would understand except the writer. Stenography is short hand writing and it is really contrary to the writing style that we generally have. It involves basically the use of a different kind of writing speed that the average speed people write from. The procedure that you implement while writing shorthand is known as stenography and it is used mostly in most of the offices and institutes. It is also known as brachygraphy and tachygraphy in different languages which have the description of being swift and speedy.
There are different kinds and forms of stenography available these days for the cause of everyone’s convenience and they are used in many offices; it involves the general abbreviation of words for the people that are trained to read so. Stenography is words based and mostly it is shot typing of the words as the dictation is made. Usually it is implied on the projects and assignments that are given on a certain business note.
Stenography was an old means of recording data when there were no recording or dictation machines invented but it is still implemented in a lot of countries where there is no such facility. It is considered as the main focus when you are training or applying for a job of being a secretary somewhere. You should be fast, rapid and quick in your actions as an assistant which is why stenography is a must thing to learn.
Stenography is a temporary application that is used to record the data until you have to jot it down in the full form or till whenever it is required to be typed into an appropriate form. Stenography is divided into all kinds of categories depending upon the country you belong to and job you want to do and it is not only restricted to the sentence and words you type; sometimes it is implemented to geometric forms and shapes as well. There are several kinds of scripts that you can use for this purpose such as personal shorthand, super shorthand, Alpha hand and easy scripting. These days, stenography is replaced by computers and typewriters but it is as effective and accurate as other scientific means are for typing and writing down something.
